Auchinbee Children’s Nursery and Out of School Care is a family run business, which provides quality and flexible childcare for all children from birth to twelve years. From the moment you and your child first enters’ our setting, you can be assured our fully trained, caring and enthusiastic team of staff, will provide them with a happy, loving, secure and stimulating environment. We strive to give all children the foundation skills they require to flourish, steadily progress and develop through the various stages of their formative years.
We know and respect that home is the first place where children grow and develop, we also see parents and carers as the primary educators for their children. Therefore, we aim to provide a home from home environment where you and your family feel valued, respected and supported as unique individuals. We pride ourselves in building strong and effective working partnerships with all families knowing that children thrive when our partnerships with parents and carers is strong.
Staff update your child’s online journal regularly with children’s achievements and parents are provided with a link which will allow you to view and comment on these observations. Staff also liaise with parents daily providing feedback on your child’s day and their care routine whilst at Auchinbee.
We continually strive towards the development of an idyllic environment in which all children are provided with support, time and space, enabling children to grow and develop their self-confidence, self-esteem and overall enjoyment of life. We also aim to achieve the goals set out by all local and national guidance, by providing a nurturing environment for young children, through the highest standards of care and education.
Our nursery is structured to suit the needs and requirements of each individual age group. For this purpose, the nursery is split into 5 rooms, each one catering for a specific age group. Additional rooms include the General Office, Kitchen, Dining Room and Staff Room. We also have a several, safe, spacious, outdoor play area with a wide range of exciting resources as well as our extensive Forestry area.
With our own resident Chef, we also take great pride in our delicious, healthy, nutritious homemade meals and snacks.
We offer a daily intake of 116 registered places. We are regulated and inspected by The Care Inspectorate. We also work in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council providing funded places for children aged 2-5 years. To make life that little bit easier for you, when dropping off or picking up your child we have a large car park directly outside the nursery.
